Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all people within our Vestal community.

About Parks

The Town of Vestal Parks Department encompasses 25 parks and 26 municipal maintenance areas for a total of 768 acres. We offer a variety of activities from high energy sports; fun filled playgrounds; river recreation; music and the arts; to contemplative pathways through nature. “We have it all.”

Our full time staff is assisted by eight to twelve seasonal employees and over one hundred volunteers that operate and maintain our sports programs and events. It is the commitment of our volunteers that gives our community a home town feel.
