Leagues may reserve the fields so long as they comply with all Town requirements (ie. insurance).
Arnold Park - Andrews Rd.
Four rentable picnic shelters by the day (see Arnold Park Picnic Reservations in the menu to the left), tables, grills, playground equipment, ball field with lights, football field, softball fields, restroom facilities, running water, electric, hiking, sand volleyball court, ice skating and cross country skiing (in winter), fitness trail, and parking. (Shelter #4 is currently being rebuilt. Reservations will be taken upon completion of project).

Band Gazebo, electric, park benches, and free summer band concerts on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM June, July and August. See Music. On street parking only.

Vestal Rail Trail (both trails equal total of 3.55 miles)
The trails 2.1 mile section runs between North Main Street and African Road and is located just north of and parallel to the Vestal Parkway (Rte. 434). The trail has a twelve foot paved path and eight feet of grass on either side of the trail. Parking at Stage Road and on the east side of the Shoppes at Vestal. The trail has benches. Bathrooms at both ends of the trail. The west section runs from the western end of the existing trail on North Main St. and proceeds west, 1.45 miles to Castle Gardens Rd., paralleling Route 17. Parking at vacant lot on Castle Gardens Rd. Dogs on a leash are allowed on trail but you must bring your own bag for waste.

Vestal Hiking Guide
The Town of Vestal Recreation Dept. has a hiking trail guide on nine sites in Vestal. Volunteers in the community prepared the guide.
