All ages can splash the afternoon away as the pool transforms into an aquatic wonderland. Games and activities for all ages will take place. Activities include: water obstacle course, water balloon toss, silliest dive contest, soda can dive, walk on water, music (DJ), lazy river and baby pool activities!! Free entrance to the picnic again this year, due to another very generous donation from Vilma Byrne. In return she asks those attending to consider bringing a can of cat or dog food for donation to a local animal shelter. Thank you Vilma!

The Vestal High School Cross Country team is co-sponsoring a one mile pumpkin run open to all 5th and 6th grade boys and girls in the Vestal School District. The race will take place at Arnold Park on Andrews Rd., Vestal. Interested participants should register in their gym class at school. In case of rain, the run will take place on Wednesday, October 19 at the same time. This program is free. Free cider and doughnuts will be provided. Pumpkins will be awarded to top place finishers. Ribbons for all!
Monster Mash Halloween

For a "howling" good time, join us at our nineteenth annual Monster Mash Halloween Party! Put on your best costume!! Many activities are under the spooktacular tent at Arnold Park on Andrews Rd., in Vestal. Festivities begin at 1:00 PM and run until 3:00 PM. Treat bags for all the kids! Be sure to slide down the giant twenty-five foot slide, go through our tiny terror hay maze, hop on an inflatable pony and hop around, play a round of mini golf, play carnival games and have fun! The Vestal Service Organization will be on hand to serve free "spider cider" and "deadly doughnuts". Open to all ages and be sure to dress warmly, all activities are outdoors. Rain date is Sunday, October 22 at the same time.

Mark your calendars for Vestal's Annual Family Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long and Christmas Tree Lighting. Have fun singing with the Vestal Community Chorus. The Vestal Service Organization will be serving free hot cocoa, cider and doughnuts. The evening will end with a special visit from Mr and Mrs. Claus at 7:00 PM.
Santa would love to hear from all the boys and girls in Vestal! Write your letter and Santa will send you one back. Ask him a question and he will answer it! Santa's mailbox will be located on the front porch of the Recreation Office located at 516 Front St., Vestal, from Monday, November 20 through Friday, December 1, 2017. Due to the large volume of mail Santa receives, he cannot accept letters after December 1. Don't forget to write your first and last name and put your address somewhere so Santa knows where to mail his response. You may also bring your Santa letter to the Tree Lighting.

Dinner: The buffet will include Santa Fe flank steak, breaded chicken fingers, and maple Soy Salmon, gourmet macaroni and cheese, smashed red potatoes, glazed baby carrots, romaine salad, cookies and brownies.
Fathers and daughters, join us for a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing. All seating is assigned and tables will hold a maximum of eight. We will do our best to honor seating requests. Only complete tables of eight, that register together, are guaranteed. Fill out a registration form from the menu on the left and mail with fee to confirm your reservation. List all the names of the adults and children that you wish to be seated with on the registration form under "table requests". If you do not have a seating preference, leave it blank and we will seat you with another family. All ages are welcome. Limited tickets available. Open to Town of Vestal Residents only. Activity #172801-1A. This makes a wonderful gift.
Deadline is Friday, February 2, 2018 at 4:30PM, unless it fills first. Apalachin residents can register in January, if there are openings.
